Let’s talk about Instagram’s ultimate it-girl: Dua Lipa.

First of all, it was Dua’s birthday yesterday (according to Instagram)! I have had this blog post ready to post for a bit, which is ironic since I had no idea about her birthday. Nonetheless, happy birthday to the music and fashion icon herself!

Anyways, I like Dua Lipa’s music, but I love her fashion sense even more. Dua’s style is playful, and she is the queen of mixing prints and patterns that unexpectedly work. In fact, my one friend’s and my Instagram DMs are completely made up of Dua Lipa’s Instagram posts and our commentary on her fabulous outfits. We love how she always keeps us on our toes and never disappoints!

I often find myself scrolling on Dua’s Instagram wondering how I can dress like her, only to find out that essentially everything she wears is designer. However, after quite a bit of research, I have found amazing dupes to some of my favorite pieces she has worn. Here is how to recreate some of my favorite Dua Lipa looks for less!

This outfit is serving Strawberry Shortcake vibes in the best way possible. The tight-loose combo of the baby tank and the boyfriend jeans is great, and her jewelry is the cherry on top of this look! Plus, I think I found the exact version of her tank top for only $9!

If there is one takeaway from Dua Lipa’s style, it is that more is more!  This is clearly exhibited in this sparkly look.

Dua’s actual bikini top from GCDS is sold out, and I could not find any other bikini tops like it. However, this look can be recreated with any bikini top you have.

A little bit of color goes a long way. Now if we could all have a Jeff Koons balloon dog statue to match our workout leggings!
