Mother’s Day is right around the corner which means that it is up to us to make our mothers and mother figures feel special this coming May 9! I love Mother’s Day because it feels so great to give back to my mom who does so much for me. However, there can be lot of factors that go into creating a successful Mother’s Day.

I have experimented in the past with what has worked on Mother’s Day and what has not. To give you some examples…. A heartfelt card? Gets her every time. Making a Mother’s Day brunch? With the help of my brothers, this has been very successful (and we have fun putting brunch together)! Gifts? It can be hard to find the perfect one, but when done correctly, this is also very successful! I have found that useful and/or meaningful is key for Mother’s Day gifts. The best gifts are the ones where your mom will think of you when she uses/wears/sees it.
