How to Make Your Own Açaí Bowl
I am obsessed with açaí bowls because they are not only delicious, but healthy! I am always out buying them, so I wanted to find an easy way to make them on my own.
Down below is my recipe (with a few tips from my favorite açaí bowl place, Nalu Health Bar and Café) for how to make your own açaí bowl!
INGREDIENTS:
unsweetened açaí packets (mine are from Trader Joe’s)
sweetener of your choice
toppings of your choice
DIRECTIONS:
Take out your desired number of açaí packets and put in blender along with about 1/4 cup of water. However, you can adjust the amount of water to your liking. Then pour in your sweetener. The people at Nalu told us that blending the açaí with just water and sweetener is the perfect touch, so I added honey as my sweetener. Then pour the blended açaí into a bowl and add your toppings. I added granola, cut banana, blueberries, chia seeds, and a drizzle of honey. Then you can enjoy your delicious bowl!
