18 TV Shows to Watch in 2021

So you think you’ve watched every show out there? Trust me, we’ve all been there. However, I am here to tell you, you can stop re-watching the same shows over and over again. I, personally, needed this message at the beginning of quarantine when I was re-watching All American and refused to believe anything would ever be as good. The good news is that I branched out and found some great TV shows that have helped me get through virtual school and the pandemic stress. Whether you are a Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, HBO Max etc. girl, I know of great shows that you can watch regardless of your preferred streaming platform.

Many of these shows are my MVPs, but I also polled friends and family to share their favorite shows, and I added some of those to this list. If you decide to branch out with your TV shows, these binge-worthy series will not disappoint!

  1. All American

As I mentioned, this show was my go-to at the beginning of quarantine, and it is back for season 3! It is about the life of a high school football star struggling with identity and a sense of belonging, and the show keeps you on your toes. You can watch All American on Netflix the CW, Hulu, Youtube TV, and FubuTV.

  1. Mayor

Calling all Angelenos! This show is a must watch for you. The show has many inside jokes about LA’s culture which keeps me laughing constantly. Produced by Tina Fey, the show is about a Los Angeles local who runs for mayor of the city and wins. It follows the hilarity in both his professional and personal life. You can watch Mr. Mayor on Peacock, NBC, Hulu, Youtube TV, Sling TV, and Fubu TV.

  1. The Bachelor

I quite literally live for Bachelor Mondays. This is the first season I have watched The Bachelor, and I am obsessed. This reality show is a competition between many women over who can win one man’s heart and hand in marriage. You can stream The Bachelor on ABC, Youtube TV, Discovery Plus, and FubuTV.

  1. The Bachelorette

Similar to The Bachelor, The Bachelorette is filled with drama and love, which makes a very entertaining reality TV show. The concept is the exact same as The Bachelor but is reversed gender wise. You can watch The Bachelorette on Hulu, Netflix, HBO Max, and Discovery Plus.

  1. The Goop Lab

If you are also obsessed with Goop, you must watch The Goop Lab. On the show, Gwyneth Paltrow and the Goop team dive head first into many health and wellness experiences that are, well, out of the box. You can watch The Goop Lab on Netflix.

Her journey is filled with friendship, feminism, and love, and I am especially obsessed with the outfits in this show. You can watch Emily in Paris on Netflix.

  1. Schitt’s Creek

If you watched the Emmys this year, you know about Schitt’s Creek because it sweeped what seemed like every Emmy. I have to say, this show is hilarious. The show was created to represent what would happen if a family like the Kardashians lost all of their money. Do I even need to say more? This show is seriously hilarious and is a true feel-good series; a must-watch, in my opinion. You can watch Schitt’s Creek on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Youtube TV, and FubuTV.

  1. Gilmore Girls

Possibly my favorite show on this list, Gilmore Girls is about a mother and a daughter with an inseparable bond. The two live in a quaint East Coast town called Stars Hollow, and the show follows the two as they navigate life together. This show is adorable and always leaves me smiling.
